Lost Creek Hollow To the project

Yeah, it had been enough to jostle the split-colored newborn as he'd already been roused by his sister being way too obnoxious.  Now a draft of cold air hit the boy, and he squeaked, small legs flailing around as he tried to crawl closer to the main object of warmth in the world -- he felt fortunate it hadn't actually left, moved a little, yes.  But honestly, as long as nobody else started pestering him or otherwise warping the world, the boy was happy to eat and sleep with minimal ear-curdling noise, not that he could hear himself right now.
