Colt only came closer when invited, and he stepped carefully around, settling himself at Niamh's back and keeping back still from the pups.  They were tiny as fuck and he was hesitant to interact.  Admiring was way better right now.  He pressed his muzzle to Niamh's neck and gave a long, appreciative rumble.  Nice job mom, he said, staring at her a long moment before looking back.

They were perfection.  One was obviously going to be a looker because he was the spitting image of his old man, and the other stunner looked almost exactly like Niamh.  Except that perfect mark, the family trademark, in a darker gold down her spine.  We'll have to keep an eye on that one, she looks like trouble.  He joked softly.
