Blood filled his jaws and finally he drew away from her, gazing at her blood filled chest and shoulder. Puncture wounds visible. He towered over her body, his eyes cold as he turned away and trotted towards a small piece of woodland nearby, it took sometime but he emerged holding the plants in his jaws along with cobwebs. His father had insisted he learned a bit about healing and it came in use now. She was now under his protection even if she had disrespected him and he wasn't going to let his subordinate (Even if it was a disrespectful one) bleed to death.

He approached her, and licked the wounds that he had inflicted on her, cleaning them with his tongue. "Lie down," he murmured to her as he licked the blood away from her chest. He turned and went to the sea again, jaws opening to hold a mouthful of seawater before hurrying back to her and letting the water drip out of his jaws onto her wounds. As a viking of the sea, he knew seawater helped wounds heal faster. Finally he chewed the herbs he found into a poultice, applied it onto her wounds knowing it would sting and binded it with cobwebs.

Some might think him as crazy, injuring someone purposely then healing them. The point of it was to teach her a lesson of respect and let her know pain, it would help her later in life. He sat down beside her and began licking at her fur, his purpose to clean away the blood. It wasn't a gesture of fondness or affection, it was just to make her presentable.
