The pitch and tone of the shriek was that of a child. Minori's lips fell over her teeth and she gave a small laugh though it lacked warmth. Staring she watched the results of her rage, seeing both the one who'd permanently maimed her son and a girl. A girl who clearly had been raised terribly, who saw no shame in her actions...but still a girl nonetheless. A child who she had probably just caused injury that would remain for a long time. A sinking heavy pit formed in her gut and she swallowed down rising bile focusing instead on the last she'd seen of Orochi, angrily showing her an absent leg and explaining he'd been kidnapped and tormented twice while she was struggling through the quakes to find him. If she hadn't been swept away with the crumbling cliffs would she have found him? 

"Your words can't be backed up anymore. Watch them" she said voice like ice and turned away lifting a paw to go back to her children craving their comforting milky and sweet scent. The starting remorse made her turn back again and look at the expression of agony and rage on the thrashing child "hold still or it won't stop hurting. You'll be treated soon" she wouldn't add that she had no idea if anyone on the island knew medicine. Through her little brother who shared everything with her she had learned how to treat battle wounds, stop bleeding and clean it in what was probably the most basic way. She knew how to secure broken bones. She knew how to fix what she had caused but didn't feel enough guilt to offer a skill she considered to be her most private and why she'd never tried furthering it.
