A soft call bestowed his ears.
The song brushing through the wind on the back of bird feathers to draw his attention away from his thoughts and cleaning of the altar to greet her.
Minnow.
He quickly called back to let her know he was here, and coming, and moved into a quick jog.
He thought she was lost or something, but relief washed over him when he laid eyes on her unharmed form. Thank fuck.
"Minnow," he grinned, tail wagging. "You found me."
