Hin tongue lolled out of his mouth as he started to slow into a casual trot, making another passing glance toward the stag before looking back at the boy. "I don't turn down a challenge." He assured, lifting his thin neck to hold his head high, ignoring the fact he'd very nearly done so out of common sense to begin with. Had the buck not charged though he in fact would have found it as a challenge and would have hopped in- if not also tried to one-up the other wolf in the process.
