Wraen had told her to seek her children out. It sounded too hard; what time did she have left? Ibis could feel herself fading already. She didn't think she would find them even if she tried; and so she sought out her resting place, and then thought of all the places that she had been in life. When she imagined Elysium she was surrounded by the willows; then Uaine Gorsedd, which took her to an empty place.

When she thought of Brecheliant, she was transported here - a place that wasn't familiar. Blinking beneath the stars, Ibis felt only confusion. This wasn't home, and unless she had a connection to it how did she end up here?

The moon was bright, fading from its full shape, but the light pooled in a familiar way which made Ibis smile, and forget. She decided it did not matter if this place was real or not. If she knew it, if she didn't.

She stood in the moonlight and breathed, simply existing there. The woman was at times translucent as she began to dance, but maybe it was a trick of the light.

It was easier to dance, and to play her games, rather than face the truth that was so obvious: she was dead, her family was scattered, and those she loved now ached in ways she could not help to remedy.

Imagine a melody playing upon the wind;

Any memory of Ibis left behind brought only sadness to those she loved (@Akavir).

She had danced like this before in the moonlight, but not alone.

Her children (@Roswell @Arielle @Lilitu) had most likely forgotten her; they weren't here, and she was too weak to find them.

Step, step, turn; step, step, turn;

Where had her brother gone? (@Okeanos) Oh, he had vanished so long ago; she chose to think of him fat and happy, surrounded by children - grandchildren? Oh, her heart!

The music was only the wind in the grass. The branches trembling around her. Rustling leaves covered with ice. Not even her steps made noise.

Ibis would not stop, even as she began to fade in to the moonlight. Happy tears falling away with each pirouette. Turn, turn, turn, and with a giggle - gone.
