The woman @Gjalla had come for their Star Eater. In her wake came more- men, colored like iron and coal. Large. Built like tanks. Powerful hunters and fighters. Pah, Meleys was large too. They were quite pretty to look at, however.

More then this were women. Young and impressionable. Leaving their natal packs with eager to know, eager to travel and easy to mold. If their kind were lucky, future mothers of many Lanzadoii.

The phantom woman did not interact with the newcomers. They did not call themselves Lanzadoii. Meleys only troubled herself to know of her Lanzadoii clan and even still she spent the majority of her time along side the caribou then along side her own species.

Only one, savor her brother, had she held full conversation with. Not even the woman @Star Eater, carrying her niece and nephews, had she yet commune with as family. Today she returns to the one she knows, @Suliya. A woof in her direction, she seeks the ghostly woman in the dead of night. "C’eyuuy, ghost woman. Are you well?

Meleys has a heavy accent. When words are in italic, she is speaking in Lanzadoii.

suliya lifted her head at the call, pale eyes glinting like frost beneath the moonlight. meleys’ voice was familiar, a thread of recognition pulling her from the quiet solitude she had wrapped herself in.

meleys, she greeted, dipping her head in acknowledgment. her voice was soft, spectral, carrying through the still night air.

she did not answer right away. instead, she studied the other woman, as if weighing the question itself. was she well? did it matter?

i am as the wind allows, she murmured at last, a vague but honest response. and you? where have you been hiding out?

there was a faint ghost of amusement in her tone, though her expression remained unreadable. she knew meleys better than most—but even still, she was a creature of her own making. as suliya was.

Meleys hums to Suliya's words of her wellbeing, nodding her head to this. Her eyes, one ghostly pale like the woman before her and one dark as the night they stood, trained on the other, younger woman.

You know where I've been. She grins, a macabre one, however playful. She never was far from the herd. Though it was a grand one of the thousand and often it would be hard to see the women stalking among them.

Saatsine becomes many. They flock to my brother and his bride. What do you think of them, of her? Tell me your thoughts. I've yet to acquaint with any... I have you to do that. She chuckles now, her grin not wavering. Suliya had youth, beauty and charisma where Meleys did not.
