This is just a gathering to know who's still on board. It will probably only last one round, but make sure you post if you still want to be in. I'm taking liberties with where this goes exactly in the timeline, so everyone should be good to post even if their pledge thread hasn't finished yet.

With many days of walking, Rakharo and is Khalas had had a rough time with no reward yet. The promised land wasn't yet within the reach of the eye, and the hope was starting to fade away, silenced by months of nothingness. But Rakharo still kept going forward, probably just by custom after having wandered for so long. His mind told him to turn around, his father wouldn't be a problem anymore, but something, probably not so racional, and somehow stronger, kept telling him to walk ahead. He couldn't stop.

As the night fell, and the stars finally shone bright in the sky, the golden Khal arrived to a rocky shore. A lake. And he stopped to look around. The lake was so large that his sight couldn't even reach the other side. He would have to surround it if he wanted to know what was across it, and he needed to know. But for the night, he would stop, gather his Khalas and spend the night under the moon. It had been a long day.

Rakharo rose his muzzle to the sky, and slowly let out a howl that grew deeper and louder until his voice echoed so far away that even across the lake he would be heard. He was calling for his people, the loyal Dotharan that had followed him this far away from home.

Although Lavakho felt bitter about leaving his home behind, he never questioned his loyalties.  Following his brother was all he knew.  Following, had become so far ingrained in Lavakho's persona, that anything other than being led would end in disaster for him.  He had become dependent on his brother, now more than ever, to lead the Khalas to the promised land.

However, the promised land never came... at least, that's what it seemed.  Lavakho followed his brother over mountains and through valleys.  Across streams and rivers.  Toward a destination that quite possibly didn't exist.  Sure, the Dosh Khaleen had advised his brother to go on this wild goose chase, but maybe a promise of this nature, made by some old, daft tart shouldn't have been followed.  Crone or not... Lavakho's faith in the elder was beginning to wane.

But still, he followed.  Bitter or not, family was family.  And when his brother's howl pierced the night air, Lavakho threw his muzzle to the sky to join his voice with his Rakharo's, to tell him he was still with him. Always.

This guys is in the party :D Also I didn't know whenever he was just suppose to owl back and or head towards Rakharo, just I kinda made him do both. If he's not suppose to go towards Rakharo, just say he didn't arrive or something

A single drop of dew flow down the leaf he was sniffing. The aroma coming from this plant was incredible, and Raezho had to stop and check it out. The leaves were just budding, and he could see the outline of berries under the leaves. Racking his mind for his memory for plants, he began to recognize the scent. A paw reached out and lifted the leaves carefully. His eyes light up. Raspberry leaves. They were mostly for birthing, but if you chew it into a paste, it can help with pain. This was a good sign.

So far, he had found Alder bark for toothaches, Chamomile for shock, Daisies for aching joints, Oak leaves to stop bleeding and Yarrow to make wolves vomit, in order to get something out of their stomach. And now he had managed to find raspberry leaves. The leaves were still budding, so Raezho marked the spot and continued on trying to find other herbs. He had hoped to find fewerfew, because if any wolf dropped down sick, he might not be able to treat them. Being the only healer in the pack added a lot of pressure on him, considering his studied hadn't finish before his previous khalas broke off.

A howl pierced the air and snapped him from his thoughts. He recognised it as Rakharo's. Moments later, another howl joined him. Another pack mate he hadn't met yet? Raezho dedicated his days to finding new herbs and hunting, rarely seeing his brother. When Rakharo said he was to continued his studied, Raezho took that seriously. He lifted his muzzle, adding his own voice into the call. The sounds echoed off the grove of plants he was in. As he began to make his way towards Rakharo, to report his new discovery.

Using this: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/6332...treatments  for reference, the dose will have to be at least tripled, but I think it would do for now, unless you guys have a better list?

there's this one

azzaroAzzaro had kept busy by hunting, the deer, elk and caribou fulfilled his hunger but did not satisfy his thirst for a real hunt of Bison and a real feast of meat. Hunting was similar to fighting in its own way the strategies and tactics involved sharpened the brain and the exercises needed for taking down large prey was enough to keep him in shape. But day by day, Azzaro longed for the tall grass brushing his flanks and the sky above his head, the wind ruffling his sleek agouti fur and Bison. Oh, how he longed for Bison.

azzaroRakharo talked about the promised lands to his Khalas but so far, the Khal had led them absolutely no where. Just tall, suffocating mountains and forests. Weak, small, puny prey. There had been no plains nor bison wherever they went and Azzaro could not help but wonder, simply wonder if he would have found his home if he had chosen to go his own way instead. Perhaps if the Dotharan had chosen to leave with his brother that day in the meadow instead of pledging himself to Rakharo, perhaps he had found bison and moors already.

azzaroBut Azzaro was true to his word and was no traitor whatsoever, true loyalty ran through the muscular warrior's veins and so he followed the older Dotharan wherever he went. Raezho seemed to have no problem following orders, typical of his little brother, the curiousity of their mother ran through his blonde brother's veins while the fierceness, loyalty and leadership skills of their father ran through his own.

azzaroHe hardly ever saw Raezho now, for the aspiring healer had gone to search for plants. Not that he had a problem with the arrogant toad gone. Today, Azzaro had found the scat of a deer and was tracking it when a howl pierced through the air, the howl of his leader. Followed by the voices of the Khal's brother and his aspiring healer of a brother. For a moment, the Ezok doubted his decision to follow, wondering if he should slip away and find the promised lands on his own without his brother.

azzaroBut a pledge was a pledge and loyalty was loyalty. Throwing his muzzle back, the ivory eyes of the Ezok met the cloudy sky as he howled, joining his voice with the others of his kind.
Best thing you will ever see

Zhavvi was in a surprisingly good mood for her being her. The lithe female trotted by her father carrying herself proudly. She was starting to see the days of traveling as a way to prove her strength, not once did she complain about leaving. Zhavvi held a quick pace to train her muscles and stamina. This was all because Kivi was changer her mindset with her great trainings. Zhavvi was really starting to feel like a warrior princess and a warrior didn't complain. Her tail was held up high because of the fact that she was feeling like her father had no clue about her and Kivi training together.

The female instantly joined when her father howled, the lake was a strange thing to her, yet the young female would like to do nothing more than jump in it. Fear was not a word that came to her quickly. A hint of a smirk came on her face as she heard her uncle howl. Oh that was also something her father didn't know, he couldn't know Zhavvi decided, otherwise he wouldn't be this calm. Zhavvi hoped that her father would forget about the fact of her arranged mating. Or that he might choose a male she actually liked to be with, which probably wouldn't be the case.

Kivi had not seen those of her kind for some time now. She had been wandering and it seemed that the Khalas had explored the same place as her. She had caught the scent of Rakharo and began to follow it to a lake, to let him know where she has been. Almost like he could read her mind, a howl went up calling for those that wanted to follow the Khal to their new home. Calling those that were loyal. Kivi hesitated for a moment, as she wasn't sure if it was a good idea to answer his call.

She had caused trouble with another pack, and she didn't want to harm Rakharo's goal in finding a home. After several other voices filled the air, Kivi decided she was still apart of this group and that she belonged with her people. The female lifted her head high and joined in with those who were already howling.

Tom's translation skills had improved significantly since she had first joined her masters in their quest. She no longer spoke every sentence with broken grammar, and her vocabulary continued to grow with each passing day. While she still wasn't quite fluent, and her accent was still thick, she could speak with clarity, and she could bounce between between the two languages with ease. Her purpose had been found, and her life with the Dotharan had become the norm. She was theirs to do with as they pleased.

When Rakharo's voice sang out for his followers, she was quick to come to him. As usual, her body sank low to the ground, and she greeted him with a whine. "Is it time, master?" she asked, tail tucked between her legs. It had been a long time coming, that much she knew. They needed to establish themselves here to ensure their rule, and Tomahawk would join them in whatever capacity they wished of her. She was here to serve.

The newest and perhaps most untrusted member of the small horde of Dotharan had been mostly distant the days following his pledge to Rakharo. Somehow, he had been accepted, and the Khal had trusted him enough to follow along with the rest of his Khalas and not simply abduct Zoratto and hightail it out of the Wilds (nor even straight up murder the boy for his actions). While Rhanno hadn't made it fully apparent about his aspiration to usurp Rakharo's throne, there was no doubt that he wanted the title of Khal back, to restore his former glory. Yet, the possibility of being second-in-command rattled about in his mind, and he toyed with the idea idly. It was perhaps the next best choice.

Stretching out in his spot underneath a tree, the elder snorted as he heard the howls echo into the night from across the lake. Two, three, five others joined him, and Rhanno heaved a heavy sigh before sending up his own deep, clipped howl to let the Khal know he still followed him to wherever this so-called promised land was.

When his eyes were not on Zhavvi, he was running across the plains, tracking and scouting for the khal. He had made himself useful in this aspect; he was fast, with seemingly limitless stamina, along with a deep, booming voice that carried easily through the land to send messages to his khal. Rakharo had a similar trait, being older of course, which he displayed now as Zoratto was exiting one of the nearby forests close to the khalas.

Zoratto's silver ears caught the sound and triangulated Rakharo's position. When he finally had a rough idea of where his new khalas was, the young male tipped his head back and answered Rakharo's deep call with his own. He would return for the night, and sleep close to his Khaleesi before going to scout again in the morning after training with Rakharo. It was a tiring schedule, sure, but it was making the young man stronger everyday. And he needed to be strong, to get rid of a certain old man.
