The Abyssal Gorge is a place of broad wolves and constant anarchy; Stefan endured only a single year there before his father was overthrown and the former King's sons were subsequently chased away. His violence preceded him on his travels, and he quickly became known as "The Ripper" in the remote reaches of Canada, because of the definitive way in which he killed. He spent the vast majority of his most recent years in the company of Tartok, where he fit in astoundingly well, but deep in the pit of his blackened heart, Stefan became aware that his blood called only to one -- a former member of Tartok -- and he sought her after a while.
