Born shortly before a famine struck the lands, Pippin's growth has been quite limited in his early months, and as such, he is smaller than what his heritage would indicate — built with lean sinew and an angular frame that has become rugged from years of hardship. His agouti coloring strikes closer to shades of golden and amber, while shades of brown and russet blanket across his back and fading to a cream-colored underbelly — save for a V-shaped ridge of white that stretches between his shoulder blades and points towards his rump. A scar is emboldened upon his rump—the narrow escape of a cougar. His eyes are a molten gold like hot whiskey.
