Kunik was born into a warrior society, weak are culled and the strong follow the strong. Her father was reigning champion, her mother the beloved counterpart to his strength. She had many siblings, some being outcasted and some remaining as the higher ranked wolves.

Kunik was born to a small litter of two, her mother's third litter. The three who died in her litter were too weak to survive, Kunik being the dominant one in her litter led her to being one of the strongest in the pack. Despite being underestimated due to her small frame she fought hard, worked hard in the rank fights and rose to Beta.

Life was good until her father died suddenly of a heart attack and the pack's hierarchy was broken. Chaos ensued, other males vying for his place and leaving her and the other females caught up in it. Kunik challenged for her own spot of Alpha but was outcasted after being defeated by her oldest brother.

Kunik wandered for quite awhile, heading north where she stumbled onto Teekon. She accidentally wandered into the not yet claimed territory of Marauder's Keep where she was intercepted by Warbone and invited to join. She became the pack's founding Delta.
