Dany was born into a family that believed strongly in keeping bloodlines pure. Her father was a perfectionist, centered on the idea of having a perfect child. Dany's oldest brother was considered to be such a heir but he died young due to a mountain lion attack. Dany's father was devastated but continued in his pursuit of a prime heir. Luck seemed to be on their side as they were blessed with twins. A boy and a girl whom they named Victor and Dany.

Dany grew to be mentally sound, if meek in her father's company, the spitting image of her mother/aunt and everything they wanted their daughter to be. Victor was what they wanted in a son; strong, bold, and brave of perhaps in Victor's case just stupid.

The two were to be mated once they came of age. At first Dany never questioned it, this was natural as her parents and ancestors before her. But as she got older she began to notice the afflictions that befell most of her family, including the later litters her mother birthed. Most were twisted and warped in gruesome fashions, others stillborn or died shortly after.

As Dany began to mature, things shifted between her brother and herself. Gone was the caring protector of her youth and in his place was a volatile man whom tried to assert dominance and power over her. Fearful of her fate, Dany fled.

She bounced from group to group, never daring to join an established pack for fear that her brother would find her. Dany kept her past hidden, using fake names and stories. Dany has found herself in Teekon during her travels with hopes of finding somewhere to settle now that enough distance is placed between her family and herself.
