Her mother began to travel to Teekons after her pack kicked her out because she chose an exiled member of the pack of her mate. She was spared but her mate was murdered for his actions. She traveled for two months before finally arriving to Teekons. She gave birth about 8 miles outside of the Swiftcurrent Creek pack's territory on June 20th, 2017. She died during birth along with two stillborn puppies, and Mei was the only survivor. A kind loner mother, who already had 4 puppies, adopted Mei and raised her for 9 1/2 months before Mei left to join the Swiftcurrent Creek pack.
