Hirozelfa'a was born to loner Nali. Nali raised Hiro along with two other wolves. Elder Denari, and her grandson, Delri. Nali was wounded in a border skirmish and later died of injuries. Hiro speaks of Elder Denari with much respect, and the old wolf taught Hiro most of what she knows about herbs. Denari's name means Sharptongue in an old language the elder taught Hiro. Delri was an elder brother to Hiro and taught her how to fight. As of one morning, Hiro was collecting herbs on her own and hadn't realized that she had just barely crossed into a grizzlies territory. Hiro was attacked, and nearly killed, earning the scars on her chest. Humans found her and held her out of the wild while she healed, before releasing her once more. Hiro managed to stumble upon the Teekon Wilds.
