At 37 lbs, Zero is average size for an eastern coyote, but unlike many of her subspecies, her coat lacks any hint of fulvous coloring. Instead, her fur is a soft silver throughout with interspersed darker hairs, a lighter underbelly and jaw, and a black tail tip. Like most coyotes, she has sharply tapered features, tall ears, and a thick, bushy tail. Her eyes are bright yellow.

While Zero was born to an ordinary family group, she was separated from them at a young age. She was raised by coyotes who hide their identities and form no attachments. The only family she recognized was her late mentor, [REDACTED].
