Some things are left vague as respective threads are not finished
All welcome! Apologies for messy post.
The sand lady moved along the scattered pools, scanning her surroundings for the perfect one. So many things happened lately, she needed to relax for a while. Hot air was barely breathable, yet she managed quite well, but the smell… The smell was something else. She drifted along the rocks between the pools, looking, searching, slightly absent from it all. Rose tail wagged behind her with every step, her ears twitching slightly, plum gaze finally settling on a smaller pool surrounded by grass and a giant flat rock. Hemera approached it and dipped her paw first, the water felt warm enough for her, not boiling hot as she expected it to be, and before long, her whole body was covered in water. She sighed, lifted her chin and held her breath.

A while ago she met a young black shadow blessed by the Light, she could see it in her eyes. The woman herself was blessed with a gift, to sense those that the Lord deemed worthy of his light. It wasn’t really a gift, rather really good intuition, but she left it as it was. Another mask, before she met the shadow, a rather interesting meeting. Hemera shook her head slightly in an attempt to not think about things anymore and just enjoy a good relaxing day. She closed her eyes, breathed in, and submerged under the water, steam rising constantly.

Moving day had opened her eyes to the beauty and excitement of a world outside of the Keep - Leifa itched to explore. She awoke that morning and made a silent promise to herself to not stray too far from the Plateau, for she knew her legs could not carry her miles. Yet the journey had sparked confidence within her - that she could do anything, go anywhere! After placing a kiss on the brows of her brothers and letting @Thyra know of her plans, the redhead licked her lips and let her nose lead her in the most interesting direction, fur fluffed up against the autumn chill as she set off alone towards the rising of the sun.

And interesting it was. The heat was what drew the girl to the outskirts of the pools; Leifa welcomed the steam as it left droplets at the ends of her whiskers which she let drip to the rocks below. And then it hit her. A smell so bad it made her stomach lurch so unexpectedly that she almost lost her breakfast. Well, that was a warm welcome. In an effort to quell the nausea, she shuffled to a large stone besides a steaming pool, flopping on her side and letting her flank rise up and down, one paw draped over her nose to try and escape the offending odour.
