Redhawk Caldera This transmission is almost certainly of Daedric nature.

Limit Two
Set after this thread! Vague for now. I know we have one already but Ana kind of blew things up LOL <3
She'd broken from the fray and ran. Whether the others pursued or not, whether they reached for her with gnashing teeth or not, she did not stop. She was bleeding; she felt it, though she wasn't sure yet how much.

All she knew was that she had to find @Ponyboy. She barreled past the borders, eyes wild, and called for him. But she didn't wait for him to answer. Ana kept running until she found him, and when she did, immediately began to stammer:

I - we have to leave. We have to - to go right now. Right now, Ana started to cry. She knew she couldn't stay long. Bronte had been there, and some man she didn't know — and soon they would be here. Soon they would tell everyone what she had done.

<3<3 100% here to keep the drama going while she's still fresh!

The trip to the ocean loomed, and with something big like that on his schedule, naturally, he began to prepare himself in a disorganized way. What he should have done right off the bat was speak with his Mom, so that she knew where he was going, and how long he'd be away- but something so important seemed like something he should build up for. And so, he spent his time hunting small creatures, and caching them all in one neat area so that he might essentially use that as leverage.

I hunted all this, so you should be alright for a bit, He imagined himself showing the pock-marked earth to his mother, each cache-site marked with a stone. And Bronte. I've caught enough for both of you, see? It felt good to imagine himself being such a capable provider- and making sure that his mother and sister would not go hungry while he was gone.

He had just cached a spruce grouse when he heard Anathema's voice rise in a desperate plea. A shudder rippled under his skin and at first, he balked and cowered. If something was after her, what good could he do? He quailed, circling and panting, anxiety spiking. He wasn't built for this. But he would have to face whatever it was regardless, because soon enough he could hear her crashing through brush. He hesitantly picked up a lope so it might appear as though he'd been trying to find her too; he was out of breath, but more from worry than exercise.

"Wait, wh-" He asked, eyes growing wide. She dissolved into tears, and he felt fear kindling, threatening to become a wildfire. He trembled. "What happened?" He asked, and then he spotted it- blood, trickling from her skin. Blood on her fur- not hers, though, it was too far from her own wounds. "Ana!" He said, seizing her in his grasp, gazing over her shoulder as if he expected the striped beast to bear down upon them.

It was too late to run now, anyway; and he was frozen with fear.

His fear cut more deeply than any fangs; it was for her, this fear, and for the chaos she had brought upon them. For a moment she could not answer. Every attempt splintered into another harrowed sob. When he gripped her she pulled him close, as close as he would come, and finally the words found her:

We have to go. We have to leave, Ana began to pull him away, with her if he would come. To the coast. To the island. They would be safe there. Come on, let's - I'll tell you when it's safe - we have to go. She couldn't stay. Not a moment longer. If Ponyboy would not come, then she would leave alone.

But she didn't want to.

She was desperate- like a prey animal that felt the urge to flee, but she wanted him to come too. For some reason, he got the impression that if they left, and if they left now- she would not want to come back. It wouldn't just be a trip to the ocean. The panic in her voice told him she wasn't just hoping to hit the road- she needed to run away.

"You're hurt," He interjected, but she didn't seem to be feeling the pain. "Okay, we'll....We'll go, but you have to tell me, once we're someplace safe, okay?" He said warily. He knew it would cause his mother alarm to find him missing- and he only hoped that she might understand. The best-case scenario, which he hoped the most for, would be that they would go perhaps only a few miles from the Plateau, and Anathema would tell him what had happened- and perhaps then, he could reason with her, and convince her to come back to Brecheliant to heal.

"Let's go," He said softly, hoping that a calm voice might help soothe her fear.

Fading for a new one <3
Black waters; she felt them now, nearly saw them blinking in and out of existence at the corners of her vision. The lapping shadows, the weight of fur sodden with a red so dark it was almost ink. Ponyboy's words scarcely reached her through the white noise crashing around her skull. But she heard him.

She blinked once in relief and began to lead him away. Her steps were shaky at first, but her pace quickened the closer they came to the borders, and quickened further as they passed them. Ponyboy would come with her. She didn't have to be alone, not this time. And she wouldn't let anyone take that from her.
