All Welcome
AW but tagging @Huā @Nuwü @Xiaoqing @Luli

Haoming had recently discovered the ability to stand. It was quite useful, the little wolf had decided as she slowly toddled around the den. She was not fast by any means, but she could get around better, and maybe go see that brightness outside sometime soon.

It was to that light that she attempted to go, annoyed whimpers and whines escaping the dappled girl as she attempted to scale the insurmountable obstacle that stood between her and whatever that was.

There had to be stuff out there. She just knew it. So many things.

Luli, still unsure how to feel about her newfound sight, was feeling a little out of sorts that day. The world seemed so bright all of a sudden, as daylight beamed into the burrow on that glorious Spring morning. She squinted her delicate eyes and turned away with a dissatisfied mewl, entirely uncaring of her sister's exploration.

The tiny seadragon scooted closer to another of her siblings, Nüwu, seeking comfort in the warmth and scent of her sandy furs.

just a cameo!

Her sister whimpered and whined; scuttled around on her legs. Nüwu had found that ability too- but it was not so interesting to her. There were still things to be learned within the den. At her sister's loud noises she flattened her ears silently against her skull, annoyed. Anything to distract from the loudest- and so when her smaller sister scooted closer, Nüwu joined her, snuggling into the warmth of her pale pelt with closed eyes.

Huā watched Haoming with an amused smile gracing her features. 你想出去,浩明? She chuckled warmly, standing up and stretching out her legs. 我也。 She hummed, striding towards the dappled girl with a careful step around the adorable snuggling sisters. She was not sure that she was comfortable letting them roam beyond just yet- sure, their eyes were open, but they were so small and delicate. As safe as the island of paradise was, she could not help but conjure paranoid thoughts of tiger sharks who leapt from the sea to swallow her children. She could not lose more loved ones- and so for now, she nudged Haoming with the end of her snout, hoping to ease her back into the den for now. Exploration could come later.

@Haoming sorry to skip, just keeping this going.

Nüwu did not object to her closeness, as she initially feared. Being the most delicate of the bunch, the Empress' tiny daughter always expected her littermates to want to cast her aside (or perhaps even harm her) as they might do at meal time. They weren't exactly the most gentle of cubs.

Instead, her much larger sibling seemed to welcome Luli's company by scooting closer. She cooed happily and, with her little nose pressed to her sister's neck, settled into the cuddle with ease.

moving forward since it's been a while, but @Haoming feel free to jump back in. mild pp

Haoming responded to her nudge with little grumbles, but ultimately the empress was able to herd her back inside. Huā turned then back to the inside, blocking the light of the entrance like an eclipse and casting a shadow over the quietest children, who cuddled comfortably together. Huā cooed like a child, leaning in to poke gently at each of their shoulders. 你们知道你不可以去出,对? She chuckled with approval, pulling away and smiling upon them. They were well-behaved, albeit somewhat timid... but she hoped in time they would gain a humble confidence to balance their good manners.

Concluding here.  :)

The bright light dimmed, and Luli relaxed further into the gentle warmth of her littermate. She began to doze again, lulled by stillness once more, until there was a poke between her shoulder blades. The tiny koi responded with a little squeak and blinked her eyes open, quick to find mother's face. She continued to look her way for a quiet moment, before aiming to bury her muzzle among Nüwu's sandy furs.

A little squeak, and crystal blue eyes. Huā smiled, watched on as the rosebud poked her muzzle into the downy fur of her sister. A soft sigh exited her lips. She would be happy to live this way forever.
