there is a large part of praimfaya that ponders the sensibility of paying diaspora a visit. she had, after all, fled from them without so much as an uttering of goodbye ...and taken ingram with her. though, in the end, he had died where he would share grave with her mother. she only hopes that blodreina's spirit had been waiting for him and that they were happy — if spirits could be happy.
surely, diaspora has long since written her off. another child running from the confrontation of her grief. it had truth to it. there was roangeda, of course, but ultimately it had boiled down to her rejection of facing her mother's death.
time and the wisdom that accompanies growing up has shown her the error of those ways.
her consideration, however, for seeking the familiar path to sleepy fox hollow, wasn't entirely selfless. though, in part, she seeks to mend some bridges she might've burned; a thought occurring to her as she feels the impending bestow of commander upon her brow — there is also the matter of her father's mysterious death. a murder, she is quick to believe. for, after all, ingram hadn't gutted himself. perhaps one of the diasporians could shed some light onto what or who might've ended his life. in this, she seeks closure that has been denied to her; selfish.
is it a perhaps fragile line she walks between selfless and selfish; precariously balancing. her pace slows, steps measured and frostbound gaze searching as she nears their borders. when she is more than an amiable distance away she tips her head back and lets out a howl, announcing her presence.
