Luckily for Aria, Lily was still a bit shoddy with directions--so while the blackbird took her information seriously, she still managed to get it wrong. That ended up being the best-case scenario. She and @Khali soon reached another border, and this one seemed fresher than the other. Not that Swiftcurrent Creek was lax in their patrols. . .but there was a sense of newness about this one that gave her hope that they were on the right track.

Lily, once again, howled for an audience and then settled in for however long the wait would be, grinning at Khali. She stood close and rested her head against his broad shoulder with a sigh, happily taking in his scent. Sorry I've not been the best navigator, she murmured, laughter in her voice. Always an adventure, with me. At least it had afforded her more time alone with him. That was a blessing by itself.

Khali had been quiet when they were at the first creek place. He figured it would be best to let his partner take charge. He just saw himself as her protector, not someone to intrude on her business out. They headed in somewhat of the direction the woman had told them to go. He never corrected Lily nor did he want too. The time out with her was too valuable to him so if they were a little off track than that was fine by him.

”you are fine” he said softly and nudged her with a small smile. They neared another border this one seemed like it was the right one. The smell was stronger and newer than the last. “One of the many things to love about you is the adventures that come with.” He commented with a wink as he waited for someone to show up. Hopefully it would be another female so he wouldn’t feel the need to be in between Lily and anyone else, but if push came to shove...

today there were two wolves at their border. terance heard the howl and came promptly-- though it wasn't a bother, truthfully, since the stark man was always patrolling. he noted they both held familiar scents, though they must've been traveling for some time since the scent mingled too much with that of the wild. terance could not place his paw on what he recognized it from.

he regarded the two, a male and a female, contrasting like night and day, with a guarded pair of emerald iris'. after a few heartbeats, his nose dipped. "what brings you to our borders?" he asked them, tail relaxed despite his stiff posture.

The word 'love' caught her off-guard, and she flushed with heat, staring slack-jawed at Khali. She was about to babble some incoherent response when the ebony-furred male arrived, inquiring as to their presence. Swallowing, Lily pulled herself together (though not without shooting Khali a goofy, 'we'll talk later' smile) and dipped her head at the man in solemn fashion.

Hallo--is this Lost Creek Hollow? she asked, gaze straying to the land behind the border before returning to the face of who she presumed was the leader, here. We're here from Elysium; we're looking for someone named Terance. Gee, what if this was him? That would be highly fortunate.

Khali saw Lily change as he spoke love. Nervously he smiled back at her not sure if he said the wrong thing or the right one, hopefully the latter. The mans attention quickly changed when he caught scent of the male appraoching, a small growl was trying to rumble in his throat. Before he got there though Khali suppressed it as he knew that was no way to greet someone. Frustration was all it was, he had hoped he wouldn’t need to worry but he had to now.

The smile that Lily had shot him didn’t go unnoticed. He gave a small one back before she introduced them to the other dark wolf. Again Khali would not speak unless he was addressed or unless the male felt the need to get close to his Lily. The thought made him upset so he tried to think about something else as the two conversed.

his ears pricked. so he did recognize their scent. his tail swayed gently as they mentioned his name, but he couldn't quite place if he knew these wolves or their scent. his head dipped gently. "my name is terance," he returned, a small smile pressing onto his scarred features, and then he echoed "elysium..." he didn't recognize the name, but he wondered if this could possibly be...

"are you from seabreeze's pack?" he asked, nose twitching. that would explain why he recognized their scent, at least.

Had Lily been aware of Staples, she might have quipped, 'That was easy.' As if was, the wolf was completely ignorant of human capitalism, and instead grinned at the revelation, looking happily at Khali before turning her gaze back to Terance. Yes, she sent us, the blackbird chirped. To let you know that the pack resettled to Hushed Willows, at the base of the mountains.

She thought that settled matters. Perhaps there was more? Hmmm. Maybe he would offer it; for now, she stood, tail swinging idly, waiting for his response. She was much more interested in the conversation she would have with Khali at a later time.

Khali wasn't too interested in the conversation that they were supposed to have with Terance, though he realized it was probably important so he could visit his children. It seemed a bit weird to him that the man hadn't wanted to bring them to his pack or even to stay a week or two with them in Elysium but again it wasn't his business. But he did wonder why he and Seabreeze didn't work out... man was his mind nosy today.

On the bright side when they were done here he would be able to be alone again with Lily and admire everything about her before they were back at Elysium and had duties to attend too. The thought of all Lily had to do when she got back saddened him, but he would enjoy whatever time he got with the blackbird.
