The plains he's referring to is Hoshor Plains this is a temporary move until they can assess the damage to the territory and decide if it's safe or if they need to move elsewhere! It's been weeks since the initial shock. During the minor growls Tobias had set off to search for any more signs or causes behind the tremors, but like most, there was no reason that they would understand. He had seen the destruction that laid in the wake of the larger shakes. Sounds that echoed the land with the power of something fierce. He never expected this though. The shakes had grown far more powerful, this wasn't a disaster, it was an end.
The cowboy awoke to water soaking his pelt, their once clean flowing river now spread into the forest, muddied and hungry as it continued to head inland at an alarming rate. It wasn't just the water though, no they would be lucky if their problems ended there. The roar of the tremors cried out with a force that managed to knock Tobias off his feet. It was no longer just the earth, but the trees as well who ached and cried as they were uprooted from their place. It started with one, but soon trees fell at an alarming rate causing the man to scramble.
They had to get out of the woods. Luckily a clearing sat not far from the small kingdom's home, he recalled seeing it during his travels. It wasn't perfect, but it would be enough to get everyone out of immediate danger. With all the power and urgency he could must, the commoner called for his packmates. If they were not running already he had to warn them. Once they had regrouped in a safe location they could figure the rest out from there. Any he passed would get the message. Travel southeast. Get to the plains.
Tobias planned on staying until he was sure they all heard the message and if the other's had not already, find the pups to help escort them out of the woods.

pping Castor with permission. I'm going to go ahead and pp Spica and Syrma too, but I can definitely edit if you guys have other plans for them!
Speedy was already panicked and trying to usher her children to safety when she heard Tobias' call. She had woken to the river far too close, water quickly encircling them. The rumblings from the mountain and been a constant worry for her, and she wondered when things would get worse. It seemed they were headed that way.
As she made her way towards the plains where the call had sounded from, she counted heads and realized she was missing one. Acheron. Her panic intensified, and she looked around them, frantically calling out to him. Large trees began to collapse around them, and she knew she had to get her other three children to safety before she could look for her other son.
When she found Tobias, she was trying to hold back tears as she checked the children. All seemed okay (assuming) and Castor seemed strangely calm, which would have perplexed her had she not been completely overcome with the horror of missing a child. She turned to Tobias, her voice shaky.
I can't find Acheron. She swallowd and looked around.
I have to go back and find him,she stated. She hated to leave the other three, but what choice did she have? She couldn't just leave her son behind.

The sounds from the earth had worried Acheron greatly, so much that he had trouble sleeping most nights because he was afraid something would happen and he wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Last night had been no different. He lied next to mom for a long time, listening to everyone sleep until just as the sun peaked up from wherever it slept, a cracking sound in the forest startled him up from his spot. Already protective of his family, he trotted into the woods to investigate. But he had been met with water and before he knew it, he was completely surrounded, the river quickly rising around him and forcing him to swim to a boulder and climb up on top of it. He heard his mom's calls and tried to call out to her, but the sound of the raging river drowned out his tiny voice. All he could do was watch in terror while the trees fell and the water continued to rise.
This was too hectic for her, honestly. The earthquakes had been one thing--they came and went, and by now, she was starting to get used to them after experiencing a few by now. At least when she noticed one coming on, usually she could brace for it and make sure Spica was near and all good with her; that always remained priority, otherwise, she'd just forget to breath in all of her worry. Next, came Mom and the brothers of course but so long as she was glued to her twin's side, she was twice as brave, even in the face of nature's worst.
But, lately came some really bad quakes.. even by present standards, and then the flooding was the next big problem, followed closely After that her mother's very real and very apparent panic was really the next tipping point for the youth. She felt a lot of things thanks to this, all of them feeling kind of gross.. and a lot to process.
Rallied up by Speedy, she stayed close underfoot, all with her ears down low and eyes darting about as they fled to the fields. Everything was a blur, until her thoughts snapped to her mom's words: I can't find Acheron. Syrma's stomach sank--could it get worse? Of course one of her brothers would find a way.. and she could only stand there dumbfounded, in the open with a sad-worried look on, feeling utterly misplaced as her world turned to chaos around her.

The world had fallen around them all too fast. Speedy's words almost went right in his ear only to come out the other, had she not mentioned the missing pup.
It seemed impossible to him for anything to happen to the two giants. One so stoic and strong, the other a caring man with only the safety of others put first.
You can't find him?His gaze quickly skipped to the remaining three knowing they had little time left.
Go find him, I'll make sure these three make it to the rest. I haven't seen the leaders, but we have to trust they are fine.

If things look bad come to the plains we can search better when the Earth is not shaking us off our feet.Given Speedy agreed to go back and trust him with the pups, he'd nose them towards the plains, picking up any by the scruff who seemed to refuse his touch or move too slow.
There was chaos afoot and Spica didn't like it one bit. She stayed in place at first, rooted to the ground and unsure what was expected of her. She exchanged a quick glance with @Syrma and Castor, who seemed not to know what to do. She didn't really know what to do, herself... But someone had to do something. Spica watched her twin and roughly nosed her in the cheek.
C'mon Swym, we gotta find 'im!Spica urged on her twin. She looked at Tobias, who seemed intent on herding them away from their mother. Spica wouldn't just give up without a fight, though. Mom needed them - they couldn't just leave her on her own!
Think fast!Spica bellowed and she started to run quite suddenly to break free from the group, hoping that Syrma would follow suit. Her paws carried her towards her mother, so they could assist her in the search.

Thank you,she said, her gaze heavy with fear and uncertainty as she looked to Tobias.
He can't have gone far,she added, turning to head back to the thicket that had been her little family's home. She was stopped by her daughter's words, turning to see Spica (and Syrma?) running towards her. She rarely got angry with any of her children, but seeing them try to follow her into danger made her chest tighten with anxiety.
No,Speedy said, the word more stern than was normal for her.
You need to go with Tobias and let me find your brother. I can't worry about you getting hurt and search for Acheron. Her expression suggested there was absolutely no room for argument here. She would not let her daughter(s?) follow her back to where it was unsafe.
I promise, I'll find you as soon as I can,she offered, her voice softening a little. She appreciated the concern and willingness to help, but they were too young to help her right now.
Go ahead and skip Acheron this round

As so much uncertainty loomed, she took a firm, fast grip on the most grounding thing she could--Spica's voice, her urging, and every last word. Syrma didn't really think about it, she supposed she didn't need to, but after the world's shortest nod, she bolted after her sister so long as she was still able. She couldn't stand the thought of being separated on top of everything else, not at a time like this especially, so that was a priority she could make real.
However, their mom's tone upset her attempt for fearlessness and her ears flattened back against her head hard. She started to want to protest, even as she had needed to stop thanks to that; usually they didn't need it. But, this was big and potentially very bad.
She was too scared to see quite past the selfishness of it, and separating at all seemed far too wrong.. as if uprooting so suddenly on top of it all wasn't bad enough. Syrma was going to do everything she could to stay with Spica (who would not be getting out of her sight) if all else failed.

Mom!!she protested, unable to keep all the fear out of the shrill height it reached as her voice jumped out of her.
But don't leave us!So what if she said she'd be back--and that she didn't need them in danger with her, that with Tobias was the best place for them and it really, absolutely was right now; this twin wasn't having it, even if it made too much sense and maybe her brother really needed the help somewhere.

It wouldn't take long for two of the pups to take off after Speedy. The twins.
Hey!Tobias was quick to turn tail after them, ensuring the last staid put. They didn't have time for this. Before he had to try and persuade them though, Speedy had already spoken up.
She'll be fine. If Acheron is injured it would only be worse if you or your sister were also hurt in the process. She'll reunite the two of ya with your brother before you blink. After all, her name is Speedy. The cowboy cast a sorry glance towards the mother before picking up the nearest twin by the scruff, hoping it would be enough to draw the other his way.
Where Syrma decided not to protest further than a complainty 'Mom!!' Spica looked positively upset when she was told off. Normally she might listen at the stern tone, and where Syrma decided this was too big to object, on Spica's end of the spectrum it was that she wanted to object 'cause it was so big.
Tobias pretended like everything was just fine but clearly the adults were all worried and anyway, Spica thought it was super stupid that they weren't allowed to join. Positively lame.
But MOOOOOOOMMMMM!Spica drawled out in a whiny voice.
We gotta help keep you safe! Not to say that Speedy wasn't strong or nothing, but with Syrma and Spica around she would be even more saferer!

Fine, but don't get hurt!she shouted loudly at Speedy and she rolled her eyes as she unhappily joined her sister's side again.
You're lame, she lashed out mopily at Tobias, blaming him for not being allowed to come with her mother. She followed however, encouraged by Syrma's good behaviour. Then, as they split off from Speedy, Spica bumped her nose into Syrma's shoulder and started to laugh again as she nipped at her sister's ear, inviting her to play and mind already diverted from the seriousness they faced.

She was growing uncharacteristically impatient with her daughters, her fear that something might happen to Acheron increasing with every second that she stood here arguing. Both of them seemed to still resist hers and Tobias' directive to follow him to safety and wait for her there. Their words made guilt rise in her chest; she didn't want to leave them alone at such a scary time, but she didn't know what else to do. If she could split herself in two, she would do so, but that was impossible. Trying her best to keep the fear and pain from her expression, she looked at the twins. She was going to demand again that they go with Tobias but before she spoke, they both seemed to slowly make their way over to her packmate. She nodded at Tobias, her expression full of gratitude, and then her gaze fell on each of the three pups, lingering a few moments before she turned and took off back towards the river.
She searched for what felt like hours before she heard the cries for help. The sound painfully squeezed her heart, and she sprinted towards it. When she got closer, she could hear Acheron's soft, fearful whine when he thought his cries had been in vain. The water level raised around her the closer she got to her son and by the time she finally laid eyes on him, it soaked the fur on her chest and flanks. She called out to him but her voice was drowned out by a loud cracking sound. Her gaze met Acheron's terrified eyes as the cracking brought a tree to the ground between them. The force from the tree made water surge up around the rock the pup was huddled on, and it swept him off. Speedy jumped forward onto the fallen tree, her only thought to save him. Acheron flailed around in the current of the swollen river, and she quickly jumped in next to him, grasping his scruff between her teeth. He was heavier than he used to be, but adrenaline made her strong enough pull him onto the tree trunk.
They both panted for a few moments, soggy and cold. When she thought he was ready, she jumped back into the water and urged him to walk along the log to where the water was shallow enough that he could swim to land. He seemed unsure at first, afraid the water would carry her away or that he would fall, but she was able to assure him they would both be fine, which was honestly amazing since she wasn't sure of either. But what choice did they have? Halfway to safety, the tree began to sway back and forth in the water, knocked loose by the current. Acheron looked at her in terror but continued to make his way towards the land. They raced forward, finally reaching the gnarled roots of the fallen tree. She helped her son down and they quickly moved from the water. Moments later the tree was finally pulled from its spot and swept away. She hugged Acheron's shivering form close, her eyes watering as she realized how close she had been to losing him. She was too relieved to have him here right now to scold him for wandering off and instead helped him to his feet and led him back to towards where she had left the rest of the family.
Speedy found Tobias and the three pups in the plains not far from the river. She was soaked and exhausted but managed a smile and met whatever greeting was offered. She looked around worriedly after a few minutes, wondering where everyone else was and hoping they found their way to safety as well.

Sourly, she went with Tobias and sulked about the entire thing at first. Truthfully, she was just scared about what this could do, mad that mom would ditch them like this now, frustrated that Acheron would do this to them all, ugh just all of it--it was a lot, and all on top of being completely upheaved by the entirety of nature itself.
Thanks to Spica's enforcing of the matter, Syrma did eventually regroup a bit once danger had immediately backed off and they were further from any issue.. though that didn't make her any happier about being sent off like that. She was still uneasy about Speedy being gone off on the rescue mission, and didn't hide the here and there glances she cast towards the direction of home... or, where it had been, even as she finally relaxed enough to give in to her twin's invitations for good vibes.
It had been a nasty day, so she was tired.. but she went along with the play anyway until Mom finally returned after being gone for what felt like eons, Acheron with her--so her efforts had been a success thankfully. Relief was first, because omg, and from there out on, Syrma was a stressy mess who just wanted to get back home again soon with her family in tact. She didn't like it here and made it plenty known, but above all, the girl just wanted this to be over so they could get back to how it had been before.. not this!

Last reply from me here I think too! Would be good to wrap up since it's old
Normally the cowboy hated being the stern one, but this was no time to play around. He would ensure the pups remained close in the plains until Speedy made her return. Much to his relief, she did not come back empty-handed, a wet pup by the side of the soaked mother. Tobias pressed his nose to Speedy's shoulder as she approached attempting to offer some comfort, a wave of his tail signaling the other kids that it was now ok to rush to their mother.
I'm glad you two are ok. I'll go find something for you all to eat. With one last glance to the little family, Tobi would take his leave to see if there was any small prey nearby that could feed them.

Spica didn't see the seriousness of the situation all that much, really. She just thought it was pretty lame that they weren't allowed to come and help out, and she saw it all more as a big ole' game than anything serious or big or dangerous. So obviously, it was super lame that she and Syrma weren't allowed to come on it!!
Anyway, Tobias was pretty lame and continued to be so, making sure they didn't run off and keeping them safe and whatever and Spica was pretty grumpy all around. She just wanted to do something or go home, but not be stuck here and ugggghhhh it was the absolute worst day of her life ever!!
Finally mom returned with Acheron, who looked pretty shaken. Spica was pretty glad to see them back, even if she and her sibling weren't allowed to go on the adventure.
