Charon hoped that the wolf was actually acting, but he continued his charade (well, Charon hoped it was a charade). He continued to look on while the first wolf said that he was not acting. Charon could not express how happy it made him when the second wolf decided that this was going too far and cut it off. Phew. Charon didn't like running away, but he definitely would've had the two wolves actually started to do gross unmentionable things.

After he'd been turned down by the more wise wolf of the pair of loners, Charon wrinkled his nose and sharply said: "Well, you're either acting or a pretty sick fuck." With a sneer on his face, the youth turned around and started to leave, hoping he wouldn't have to see any more of the first wolf, ever. When he first happened upon some loners he thought they might've looked for a home, but now he was glad he had waited with expending any offers.
