Horizon Ridge Take me by the hand

Charon had been searching everywhere for Atreyu and Jorunn, but so far no luck. He knew that Jorunn was probably lost, since he'd been caught in the ocean's current, but what about Atreyu? Charon could not help but replay the horrible moment in his mind when he thought of the likelihood that Atreyu was still alive. The moment that the leg was ripped off as if it meant nothing, the sound of cracking bones and tearing muscles...

Lost in thoughts, the boy wandered along Horizon Ridge, until he heard voices in the distance. Charon approached with the intent to ask them if they'd seen anything, but when he heard something about secrets -- or did he? he wasn't too sure he heard correctly, but his curiosity was piqued -- the young Beta decided to approach a little more silently. He moved nearby, trying to keep in some form of shelter and approach from the back, hoping he'd be able to hear some juicy Wilds gossip. If they'd see him though, Charon would casually pretend he had just walked up to them to ask them about Jorunn and Atreyu, of course. Nobody had to know he was trying to eavesdrop on the pair of wolves nearby.
