Stavanger Bay inspecting the damages

It saddened Charon to see how terrible the Bay's eastern side was doing. There were little tidepools everywhere and the rocky cliffs that bridged partially into the ocean had been crumbled. They still created a fair mountain ridge as they were, but a lot flatter than before; wolves could not travel over the cliffs, where at first they could not. It would make patrolling different, and he'd need to mark this side of the territory better too.

It took a while for Charon to notice Saskia there. He hadn't forgotten about her, of course. She looked a bit better than when she'd come to the borders today. At first, Charon just continued to sniff around the beach, searching along the tidepools and occasionally scrunching his nose when he ran into one with a bunch of dead fish in it.

When he ran into a crab skittering along the sands, Charon thought back to when Shiv had taught him how to kill crabs. He couldn't help but wonder if she was still alive. Then he looked at Saskia and a devious plan entered his mind. "Hey, you!" the young Beta called out to her. "Come here! I feel like crab meat." Which he didn't at all, really; in fact, he didn't even remember what it tasted like from the one time he'd eaten it. Charon gestured at the crab, which skittered along the sands, and he could not suppress the smallest of amused smirks that danced across his face whilst he waited to see how his thrall would handle this very much alive crab.
