Moonspear you might catch a star

Charon had taken Flóki, who seemed to be his biggest fan in lieu of his plans for a move -- and therefore instantly one of Charon's most trusted and appreciated followers -- to explore some of the mountains to the south. The yearling really enjoyed being out and about with Flóki. In the midst of grumpy conservative wolves, his youngest follower had the most open mind and seemed really into the change, and Charon decided to let that positive energy energise him wherever he went. And so when he set out to explore the mountains to the south that Dhole had described, he brought Flóki along, for his opinion mattered more than any of the other wolves that were involved in the new pack (except for Amekaze, of course).

Upon approach, Charon looked up at the formidable mountain that seemed almost to pierce the sky, so high it reached. He wondered if this was Nocturne Summit, for it was the one that Dhole had been most enthused about, although she'd mentioned there was a lot of shadow. The real Nocturne Summit was forgotten, hidden behind the mountain that the yearling sized up, and he looked at Flóki when they approached a forest that lay at the bottom of the mountain. "Looks pretty huge, doesn't it?" Charon said to Flóki, a pleased smile on his face. "Imagine the view once we get up there!"

He entered the forest at its bottom, following a worn down broad trail that lead through it, probably used by all sorts of wildlife. The yearling kept his senses piqued, for he wasn't only interested in the aesthetics the mountain provided; he also wanted to know if there was enough food, and wanted to make sure that the storm hadn't touched this particular mountain like it had Ouroboros Spine.
