Charonzombie didn't see it until Casmirzombie rushed on after it, now that his zombie genes had been mutated. Without another thought Charon jumped to his feet and rushed at the beaver, adrenaline suddenly pumping in his body and the zombie jig momentarily forgotten.

Casmir's teeth missed, but in order to avoid him the beaver made an unfortunate dash in Charon's direction. Charon wasted no time and locked his teeth around the beaver's neck. It squirmed for a couple of seconds before its neck was eventually broken and its body went limp.
