The new girl kept her mouth as she rose, which was probably just as well. It was one thing she didn't understand the world, but it was another to have a blabby mouth and not understand the world. Charon nodded at her and she turned her attention to Dhole then. Charon wasn't sure why Eigma looked at him just before Dhole told her to make the initial attack; did she not know how to fight, either, or was there something else she wanted?

Dhole was the one to break the awkward silence by asking Eigma to attack her now. Eigma turned attention back to Dhole and finally she made her first lunge. Charon watched with interest, curious for the outcome, though not intending to step in if things got out of hand (unless the getting out of hand meant Dhole getting hurt). He sat down to the side and watched Dhole and Eigma with interest, for if she was a potential new recruit he'd better watch how she fought.
