The woman hadn't said much before leaving. In fact, she hadn't said anything at all. Unlike Nochtli, who had set out on a mission and had informed Saena of that decision, Citali had simply departed without a word. The alpha female wanted to hate her for it, but it was tough when she'd looked up to the amazon. One day perhaps her sadness would harden into disappointment, but for now the wound was still fresh.
