Floki grinned as Wildfire responded, though she took a playful route and declared that she thought he was repulsive. Playing along, he pouted, although it was hard to keep from smiling. He could hear the affectionate tone in her voice that contradicted her words. Her messy kiss also spoke otherwise, and he leaned into it, his tail fanning the air behind him.

"If that's how you act when you find me repulsive, I think I can deal with that," he teased as he withdrew. His separation only lasted a heartbeat, however, before he stepped forward and licked her cheek, feeling an inexplicable pull. He had always liked Wildfire, but never before had he felt quite so smitten with her.
