After Osprey had turned him away near the Sentinels, Charon had ran all the way home. He arrived, panting and weary, feeling torn in all sorts of directions. Emotions tugged him all sort of different ways, and he did not know which of his emotions were most prevalent. Or maybe he just preferred not to see it. Her scent was still fresh in his nose, or so it felt, and he wasn't sure whether to feel rejected as potential lover or as a son by Osprey turning him down. He had gone there feeling like the owner of the world after killing Nishu and easily getting away with it. He still felt just in his actions, though — he had carried the burden and done the hardest task. He had felt so powerful, and she had made him crash down so fast.

Fury was very prevalent in his mind, and so was the sadness — but as always, the sadness was pushed away to make place for yet more anger — and above it all, the lust that still stirred in his nostrils. After passing Moonspear's borders, Charon picked up @Amekaze 's most recent scent trail and followed it, his tail lifted above his back and his hackles raised, all riled up and ready to burst. He hoped that no other pack members would stand in his way, because he would tear them down if he had to; he wanted only to see his Queen, and were anyone else to approach him, he would make that very clear by instantly chasing them off.
