Nocturne Summit BWP3: PREY OPPORTUNITY

small recap just to make sure i know what's going on correctly (before my own post): dash and amekaze were going up to the rams when peregrine jumped from above onto 1 ram, the ram falls, peregrine and fox are now off to the side where peregrine fell, while the ram is coming for the other moonspear wolves. meanwhile, amekaze is going after ram 2 but glances back a look to see what the rest is doing.

Everything spiralled out of control really fast. Charon was driven by hunger, but his anger for the two stray wolves to arrive from the other pack, one of them diving on top of the ram with not a thought, did not dissipate either. It was those two things that drove him now; yet he was soon forced to rethink the strategy that Amekaze had presented them with when the ram that was attacked by the black wolf came tumbling down the slopes. The wolf that looked like Dhole — a thing that only fueled his anger towards the pair — was off to the side when both the wolf and the ram fell and tumbled down towards them. Yet the ram came straight towards him and Filth, who stood beside him, as well as Heldi and Flóki who were closeby too. Flóki had just gotten to his feet to move closer towards the rams when they started to fall.

"Out of the way!" Charon shouted at his wolves and he dashed to the side himself. He hoped everyone had gotten away safely by the time he was able to dash to the side. Charon turned around after he got out of the rolling ram's direction to try and stop it somehow (but he wasn't enough of a fool to try to do so by jumping in front of it so stayed to the side). Teeth snapped at the ram, but before he could grab a leg to try and stop it from falling a hoof slashed across his face. The force threw Charon to the ground. Blood started to drip down the gash on the side of his face and a ferocious growl started to rumble in his throat as he watched the ram roll forward towards a ledge, threatening to roll over the edge. Charon would be too late to reach it even as he was getting to his feet, the side of his face looking gruesome and bloody and his head dizzy, but no more than that. He was lucky.

He turned his angry midnight blue eyes towards the wolf that had caused this, hackles raising, tail curling over his back and teeth peeled while his tongue ran across his lips to catch some of the blood that was dripping down his face. Revenge was heavy on his mind, and the same instinct as before drove him, yet this time in a different direction.
