Silver Creek Look around

Laika grunted as she got to her feet, shaking clumps of dirt from her pale pelt and glancing around. The day had slipped by so fast, and already it was late afternoon. She looked down at Phiipa as she spoke. It was a very reasonable explaination and she nodded with a smile. "Well I can guarantee you that you've found the right pack," she assured the girl. "Well, I have to go back to the territory and tend to some things. It was lovely to meet you, Phiipa. I recommend calling for Spring sometime. She's our Alpha, and she'd love to meet you." 

She touched her nose to Phiipa's sandy pelt, marking her with Laika's scent to let other Silver Creek members know that she was welcome on the borders. With that, she turned and trotted away, flicking her pale tail in a farewell.
