It amused him that he somehow had managed to find herself bumbling about awkwardly again. He wasn't even trying to make her uncomfortable, just curious for her experiences (and maybe wondering if he could set her up with someone) — he'd thought it a perfectly normal subject.

Her question caught him a bit off-guard, though he didn't show it. He hadn't really thought of love all that much, to be truthful; heck, Flóki had found love before his brother, even if it'd ended destructively. Amekaze was a logical step for him; it'd just grown that way because they were Alphas together, which logically lead to mateship. Now that it was so he liked it and he liked her, but it'd not been love at first sight (that he knew of, anyway). "Uh, I suppose," he said after a moment of thought. "I think so. I don't remember any other time, and I'd probably remember if it were love." He grinned at that. Feelings hadn't concerned him all that much throughout his life so he'd never stopped to think whether it was a form of 'love' with anyone else he liked.
