"I know, right, I'm kinda expecting puppies to pop out from everywhere any moment now." He looked around almost as if he expected it to happen, but it seemed that they were granted their peace for now. The moment felt wonderful, just to have a short space of time between them and to enjoy being together. It was the kind of thing one took for granted before having children, but now that they were there Charon was ever grateful for these moments.

He nodded as he was informed about Alya. He vaguely remembered something, but wasn't too sure. "Yeah, I heard something about that... She seems excited to become a scout." Well, both of her parents had been partial to scouting for some time so it was not that surprising; it was only really since they had settled with children that Charon had stopped leaving his mountain quite so often. He wished he could go out more, but it would have to wait until spring. Maybe then he could take Alya to scout.

Withdrawing his head so that he could look at her, Charon shared, "Flóki has been gone awfully long from his scout to the southwest.. I can't help but wonder if maybe something went wrong." He didn't think that it was time to immediately call out the scout troops and have everyone looking for him, but he could not deny that he missed his brother much and especially in this time of winter, the one wolf who'd been loyal to the pack from the beginning was sorely missed.
