Stone Circle Trashin' the camp

Murdock didn't have to tell her twice. Once they'd gruellingly lured the bison away, Nanook wiped her paws of them and honed her attention back on the specks of her gathered family. A weight sank like a stone in her stomach, and she tried not to think about what they would find once she and Murdock joined them there. Though she hoped for the best, Nanook understood the cycle of life and death. Having watched her own mother wither away from the attack of another animal, she steeled herself for the worst.

Nanook whisked past Murdock as he made his own way forward and covered the ground with growing momentum - but something felt off. She slicked back an ear, and heard nothing. Drawing to a step, she turned to look back. Murdock stood, stricken and frozen stiff, and the bison - 

The bison moved behind him.
