But she wasn’t. She could feel the strength in her legs, and the peaceful clarity of her mind. The storm that had always brewed within her still hid there, somewhere, but the months had changed her - pack life, the pups, her sister’s forgiveness. As unworthy as she felt, Desna continued to show her this: that she was valued. That she was needed. That she was wanted.
