Oh! Mama heard her! They looked at one another for a minute or two, and then Seabreeze dipped in close, speaking in hushed tones with words that Ibis did not understand but rather, she felt. It was a good feeling. It was always something pure - a goodness reserved for the mother-daughter pair. Ibis basked in her mother's affections happily, cooing in her own dialect, and mimicked:
