The doe was now unable to run properly, blood running down its legs as it stumbled, trying to save its life. Grezig bit at it again, ignoring the thrashing of its body beneath her jaws. She did not let go. It slowed down further, almost stopping now, stumbling slowly. Grezig hoped Kavik was going in for the kill right about now because she wasn’t sure how long she could keep her grasp on the doe’s thigh.
