Although he doubted that was her choice, their father hadn't given them many choices in life, his own future had been dictated by the will of the tyrrant. 

Looking down at the boy, he wondered what the world would make him. Where would his strength lie, how would he change their world with the skills he would one day poses. "Just as you will be one day, Sos." Siarut nodded as he spoke, his green gaze seeing into to the young pup. He wondered if Sos would have the opportunity to grow stronger than any of them without the influence of a dictator. The opportunity to grown unencumbered.
