She gave a soft grunt and sat back on her haunches, settling down until he offered to leave. Her impulse was to tell him to go, to block anything else they could bond over but instead she found herself shaking her head. "Were you ever...naive? Easily fooled? Someone just wanting...affection?" she asked him eyes lifting up unsure of herself in the moment. She hadn't shared anything of herself since leaving her home pack, hadn't found anyone worth sharing with or who she thought wouldn't betray her.
