She swallowed, feeling a churning in her stomach that hadn't been there since the sickness. The moment passed quickly enough, and soon the other was inquiring as to where she came from. "No, I'm from the north," Lily responded, lifting her chin and gazing in the direction she'd come for a beat or two. She returned her gaze to the woman. "I'm Lily. I'm looking for a friend, and perhaps another place for my pack to stay." Lily didn't go into the gory details just yet. If she really wanted to know, she would ask.
