She had wilted under his glare- good. Might shut her up for a while while he figured out how to get them outta this mess. He tipped his layered brim to the both of em, subtle return of greeting.
“Thank ya fer yer clearin’ up ‘a bit-“ he began, completely unaware of the snotty raspberry the Phex was unleashing at full force on his ass. “Dunno how our Keep Watcher gone take to her- but seems he rustle up all kindsa folks. Could ask him and let y’all know once we find out. Where y’all holed up at?”
Graceless golds eyed her tail, the weird curly thing arching over her back like some kinda bored snake. It was up high, and it irked him. Clearly she wasn’t much more wolf than Phex’s naive ass attitude about everything- but maybe she had more sense to her than the piebald. Hell, if he could trade the two-
