aeryn loved his siblings dearly. if not for the comfort of being with someone, it was the warmth. they did not provide as much as their mother, but they were big enough to provide something. more than him at least.

he envied their size. if they wanted to go on an adventure, they’d probably be able to do it with ease. not fail miserably like he had the other day.

and then there was the dinner problem. everytime aeryn wished to eat they always covered the best spots. it was his fault for the most part. if he wasn’t so glued to his siblings he would’ve gotten a free spot. but he refused to leave their side again.

the boy ran into the same problem that morning. the two little soldiers guarded the food supply. aeryn tried squeezing under @Minnow. no luck. he tried to climb the mountain that was @Valiant. he fell. aeryn rested his fragile head on his tiny paws and softly complained.
