He made a breakthrough days back but even so, he was still on edge about completely giving in. Was emotions normally this complicated? To be all confused and awkward? Looked that way to Rye.

He didn't know how to respond with the answer she gave, either he could press for a better response or just try to go back to joking and enjoying the time they were having. It was a quick answer, didn't even need much thought process. "Mmm - Ya, crystal," Now onto much funner topics, "So, I talked with Phox a few days ago, he gave me the tour and all but I heard that one of his kids was blind. How's the kid doing? Or managing?"
