Would she have been patient and interested in answering questions a year ago?  Honestly, no idea.  But at least now she appreciated providing knowledge that could shape youths into.. productive members of society?  Minions?  Something like that.  Exactly. If you smell someone's trail inside the borders and they don't smell at all like your packmates, that's a clue.  Maybe they're new, but if so, you should be able to tell they ran into myself or Terance.  Which was a good rule of thumb for any and all youngsters that happened to come their way.  Though they could probably all start training for real soon.  Crazy how that happened.  Right now if you find a trespasser, you call an adult. Some trespassers are just oblivious and stupid and don't know the trouble they're in, but some can be dangerous.  Unless  you know how to fight, it's better to just let someone who can deal with it, just in case.

She looked up ahead as she walked along.  She knew the edges of the territory perhaps better than she knew its heart at this point.  But that's why we make sure the borders are well marked -- like this section along here should be obvious to anyone, don't you think?  Mostly she knew this because she'd been along this section not too long ago so the likelihood of surprises was pretty low.
