Gods did not come in solid form, so what did he really mean. The silver wanderer did not interrupt, merely listened as the dog continued his story.

"I returned, I was loyal and I was frightened. But the nights were long and I grew hungry... when I succumbed to the hunger I fed from the scraps of my God's flesh and after I knew I could not stay there. But I also knew I too would meet the same fate." He fed from the scraps of his God's flesh? But how could he? What was his 'God?'

"I can teach you how to hunt, and fight but as long as you're fast you shouldn't need to fight. said the wolf. "What do you mean by your 'God'? asked the ashen male curiously.
