kukulkan had something about him that bhediya couldn't quite place. the selflessness which he seemed to exude, it was both charming and unsettling. while she wanted to trust him, giving into such a thing was difficult. the next few weeks would be spent bonding and getting to know one another, so that when the pups did come, the two of them were ready.
