Valour was—as nicely as he could put it— a disaster.

The boy was brushing against him, their fur touching and lighting sparks along his spine that did little to keep him calm and collected. Clay had refused the poppies, knowing that they would probably hinder him, but he did not expect this reaction out of the Nightwalker. He ignored it for the most part, shuffling back with his own bumping in order to state the other boy, tho he wore his typical annoyed frown.

"For starters, don't say anything. I'll do the talking," Clay ordered, flicking his ear at Valours tug. He was worried of what his parents would think upon both of them on the borders, covered in blood, let alone delirious and high. He shuddered thinking of his mother's words; she was rarely soft spoken. But his father? Greyback had a gaze that still scared him.

He gulped.

"Were here," he announced, upon seeing the standing stones against the land, their large form taking up the skyline. "Again— don't say anything," he warned before tilting his head up and calling for his parents.
