He was just returning to the dens with a rabbit.
He needed to keep active, and Donovan and his pack had given him a new breath of life.
Yeah, he was still depressed, but how could he not be?
He was trying to adjust to life here.
It was good here. Quiet. A breath of the ocean just reached them here, and the forest was exquisitely creepy. He liked the shade and the warmth in the dens.
Alas, Donovan called for them all and he picked up the pace to get there in a timely manner.
Derg set the rabbit down, nosing it towards Donovan, and waited with him for the rest of the pack.
